8-1

Yeah I think so, there for real. Now to avenge that loss to the Mighty Ducks tonight. Demitra needs to score a couple goals, and I'm always greedy so I'd like to see another Bochard goal.

Manny Fernendez has to be league MVP so far.

Wild off to solid start

Nice crisp offense, tough 3rd period goaltending, star powered offense, power play shooting galleries. Aggressive approach, 30 goal scorers and young stars on the 3rd line. 1 goal victories at the end of regulation and in OT.

While I expected no less given the roster after seeing these first two games I think we're in for a great fall, winter, spring, and potentially first few days of summer watching the Wild this season. With the Twins and Vikings season ending this weekend the bandwagon should fill fast. Now we just have to get Pierre Marc Bouchard his first goal of the season.

Lets start the damn playoffs, OK fine if the Twins take care of business they might win the division and get homefield in the playoffs, but come on I just can't get into late inning rallies to defeat the Royals. I'm ready for the kind of baseball where even if your up 6-0 in the 7th inning every pitch is critical.

Why is everyone so scared of the Yankees? Do fans secretly not want playoff baseball? Cause a quick reality check tells you that in the playoffs you only play good teams, not White Sox good, Red Sox good, or Angles good, real good teams.

Playoff baseball, the start of Hockey season...can it get any better then this? Well yeah it can but all that will come my way in time.

Man that was a boring blog, maybe I should blog about my shoes instead.

I hate football

Nothing is lamer then wasting a Saturday watching meaningless football. I need hockey season to start, and a date that actually has something to say. I hope someone from CNN sees this blog post and reads it on TV.

Just so I don't mix to much sports with politics I have created this blog.

I was at the first game of the preseason Tuesday night when the Wild defeated the Red Wings, unfortunately I was a little late and missed the early action with the Slovaks (Gaborik and Demitra) stealing the show with the two early goals. The game otherwise was very sloppy and boring as early preseason games tend to be.

Tonight’s 5-2 victory seems to have confirmed how dominate the Slovak line will be this season. Josh Harding also got some action and if tonight is any indication he will be my kind of goalie, letting a few goals in early but taking care of business as the game progresses.

This blog was created for the sole purpose of covering everything and anything I have on my mind that doesn't fit in a political blog, but we'll keep it to hockey for tonight and see where we go from there.
